Shelter Works Announces Partnership with LAI, Ltd.

Shelter Works is pleased to announce a new partnership with LAI, Ltd. to represent our fiberglass shelter solutions throughout Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. LAI will serve as Shelter Works’ representative for municipal and industrial water and wastewater applications within this territory.

The partnership combines LAI’s regional market knowledge and water industry experience with Shelter Works’ custom-engineered fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) shelters and buildings. These corrosion-resistant enclosures protect pumps, chemical feed systems, controls, electrical equipment, instrumentation, and other critical infrastructure in demanding municipal and industrial environments.

Founded in 1958, LAI is an established manufacturers’ representative serving the water, wastewater, and stormwater markets. The company provides engineering expertise, equipment, project support, service, and training to utilities, engineers, and other water industry professionals. LAI is part of Vessco Water’s group of companies.

Through this partnership, engineers, municipalities, utilities, contractors, and industrial water customers throughout Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula will have access to local support from project planning through delivery, along with Shelter Works’ corrosion-resistant fiberglass enclosure solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure.
