Quality begins with Step One: The Needs Analysis & Quotation

We understand that each project has its unique needs so we always review your needs and goals carefully so as to provide you with a work description, any custom design work necessary, and complete pricing.

Step Two: The Design & Submittal Phase

Following the Needs Analysis, our designers will work from a customer's drawing, create a shelter to fit a site plan or preexisting foundation, or draft a plan from a rough idea based on individual needs and specifications. Engineers may easily incorporate our AutoCad drawings into their design plans. Detailed cut sheets with images of the component parts are provided as part of our submittal package. At a customer's request and a fee, Shelter Works™ will furnish engineered drawings complete with the state seal and signature ready for submission by customer to acquire permit approval.

Step Three: The Review Phase

After the design and submittal documents are complete, we review the project plans with you based on the earlier Needs Analysis. If we have additional recommendations as a result of existing conditions, the design intent, or selected products, we present them to you. As well, we integrate any of your required changes. Whenever possible, we provide photos of previously completed project for first hand product evaluation, or even field trips to nearby installations.

Step Four: The Manufacturing & Delivery Phase

Following receipt of a purchase order, we review with you the anticipated delivery schedule. Our manufacturing process is implemented by skilled employees who carefully handcraft each shelter. To insure quality control, and guarantee availability of replacement parts, we manufacture our own standard components, including doors. The manufacturing & assembly process is monitored carefully to ensure the finest quality product for each of our customers. After the shelter is complete and receives its final quality inspection, it is shipped fully assembled. Our friendly office staff coordinates closely with the customer to estimate as accurately as possible the date and time of delivery. A phone number for the driver is given to the customer as well.

Step Five: The Shelter Works™ Triple Guarantee Program

The final step in our Shelter Works™ Triple Guarantee Program is the issuance of a Written Warranty, assuring that the money you have invested has added value to your project. We offer the finest warranty in the industry - a lifetime warranty because our products are Built for Life™. The Operations Manual that we provide is complete with our Written Warranty, plus the warranties from the manufacturers of any electrical and HVAC components (e.g., a/c or heater units, blowers, etc.), submittals and a contact sheet for future reference. We also include a survey as we want to hear what you have to say about our performance in writing as we strive continually to improve and meet the specific needs of our customers.
